As a family chapter three

The first two chapters things happened so fast but that's for a reason!

Jasmine and Devin were getting settled into their daily lives together. He's still climbing the ladder as a successful actor, loved and idolized by many but only one has his heart. 

They have a "pure" reputation which is apparently really good in Bridgeport. Whatever you do, some how some way everyone will find out. I guess that's the life of a celebrity no matter how humble you wish to live your life.

Jasmin has been a princess in a palace, riches, fancy feasts, everything handed to her on a golden platter- for too long. That wasn't what she wanted..She wants adventure, normalcy, and freedom..which is what she got! Well- to an extent. She was still famous for snagging Devin and being a well respected and trusted nanny with some impressive clientele. Life is good!

Everything is on track for Jasmine and Devin. Jasmine has been raising children from babies to teens! Eventually she and Devin reached a point to where they were ready to share their love with their own. Jasmine's pregnant! All of her friends are parents and she has cared for mostly all the sims in their neighborhood, it's time she starts her own family. 

"I hope it's a boy!!" said Devin, "I've always wanted a son, I uh mean..I am perfectly fine with a girl, but..."Jasmine cut him off . "It's OK darling, I want a girl". She winked at him. Then suddenly she felt the baby moving and said "Quick Devin! I feel the baby!" Devin didn't skip a beat he rested his head gently on her tummy and felt his baby move for the first time. "I've never been so in love." Devin whispered.

With a baby on the way Jasmine had more time to focus on herself! She spent her pregnancy doing things she hadn't had much time for like going to the salon, getting massages, and letting her hubby spoil her. It seemed like the pregnancy flew by because before they knew it...

Jasmine's huge! ok, she's all belly but wow she's finally about to be a mommy! Oh how precious life is. 

a few weeks later...

Jasmine goes in for delivery, yes she's rather calm and collected and was able to drive herself to the hospital but that's not the point. She's a beautiful pregnant mama-to-be! The scenery ain't bad either..Ok,back to the story!

Introducing Ariel Disney! A beautiful baby girl!

Jasmine and Devin are happy. They finally get to meet their little baby, and Devin found out quickly just what "Daddy's girl" meant. Oh boy..

The first year flew by...Ariel was growing fast..pretty soon her first birthday was coming up. So Jasmine threw her a little party and had a very special present for her from a distant Aunt.

 "Here you go Ariel, now mommy is supposed to tell you that this is a very special toy, not like any other you've ever had, and it's from an Aunt I didn't know you had! Well, here it is you should give her a name, sweetie!" So Ariel and Jasmine went through a list of names and Ariel picked Tinker Bell "I'ma call her Tinky Bell..I love my Tinky Bell". And she really did, when she wasn't learning her basic motor skills or tapping away on the xylophone she was cuddling that doll...she's strangely attached to it!

Jasmine decided to take an extra break from her busy schedule with work, so she could focus on Ariel and her needs. She took Ariel on walks, to visit neighbors and friends, scheduled play dates, gave like 4 baths a day because man, babies are messy! But Jasmine was born to be a nurturer, this was truly her happiness. Ariel and Devin were her life- in a good way.

"Babe" said Devin as they were watching a home movie of Ariel learning to walk. "Yes, dear"? asked Jasmine. "I'm ready for another child when you are..."

Jasmine stayed quiet for a moment.."I'm ready". 

Modern Day Princess Chapter two

So the first Chapter went by pretty fast for Jasmine! Because everything seems to soar in her life! I mean, how hard can it be for a brave princess to be successful and find a suitable husband? Especially when you look like that!!

Jasmine and her future husband got their engagement photos taken, in their home her father upgraded for her. It's not the biggest home, nor the most expensive but she has made it her very own and as grown to love it. Devin is quickly becoming Bridgeport's next Star. They are quite humble but very popular among the other sims in town.

It wasn't long before the wedding day was approaching. The guest list had been made the location had been picked. Now all Jasmin had to do was attend her Bachelorette Party! Her last night of single fun with the ladies! She chose the Aquarius so she could dance the night away..

As she was greeted by her best friend Stella, she was surprised with the Fizzy Nectar sprayed all over her! (leave it to the bored housewives and mothers to be the most fun) Oh boy, the night was starting off on a WILD note!

To keep her husband from getting upset Jasmine requested no photos be shared of their "special" visitor. He didn't stay very long, I guess he didn't really interest the girls! It was a girls night and that's how it ended!!

Dun dun dun dun...wedding bells are going off, stomachs are in knots and feet are COLD! But today is the day Jasmine Disney and Devin Ashton become one. This is the very romantic day Jasmine has been dreaming of. "Oh I'm so nervous, she told Stella, what if I don't make a good wife?" "Oh you hush, you" said Stella "You've got that man tied around your pinky, his eyes light up when you walk into the room. You will be fine and so will your marrige, I am so happy for the both of you"

Both Jasmine and Devin loved the idea of a beach wedding, so that's where the wedding will be!

 Exhanging rings and reciting their vows as their guests and close friends and family watch with emotion.

"I'll be forever devoted to you and forever yours, my princess" whispered Devin to Jasmine right before they kissed.

Time to cut the cake!! "Ladies, first" said Devin.

It is now time for the couples first dance. Please come to the dance floor Mr. & Mrs. Disney! 

And so their life together begins...

Modern Day Princess

This is a story narrated mostly by me but told by my wonderful characters..hope you enjoy!!

Princess Jasmine comes from Agrabah, Egypt. Her father, the Sultan grew tired of seeing his daughter so sad.. so he decided to grant her wish of being free of the palace walls. He was going to let her leave the nest and make a life of her very own.

Princess Jasmine couldn't believe her ears when her father told her the wonderful news, no more dreaming of what COULD be!! She was actually on her way to fulfill the first part of her dream..starting with freedom!

After a long week..Jasmine decided Bridgeport would be her final destination, she would keep Agrabah close to her heart, she planned to visit some day with a family of her own.

This is Jasmine's story..

Jasmine knew she wanted to make it on her own but she needed help getting there..afterall her father was the Sultan and could provide everything she needed to start her own life. He did just that, the Sultan furnished his daughter with a simple one bedroom home..it was near mostly everything and he gave her a dowry of cash for upgrading the home to her liking. Princess Jasmin had to cut him off-

"Only the house, father. I want to find my own way, I want to start a career and make it on my own! I'm going to start my own daycare, I love children". So he built 3 extra rooms and a bathroom to suit her needs. She turned the downstairs bedroom into the nursery. After that she thanked her lovely father and started making her own living..

So, being a princess Jasmine is accustomed to a very certain lifestyle, though she's humble and willing to live a normal life..her bedroom is still fit for royalty!!

As Jasmine was gaining more and more attention as a respected and loved babysitter,  she was also mingling, making friends, and dating!! She met Devin Ashton, who was just starting out in the acting business. Boy, was he nice to look at!

They hit it off, pretty soon it was romance under the stars, long kisses, and midnight escapades.. They fell in love. Jasmine knew she found someone special. 

Devin knew he landed himself a beautiful, down to earth woman. He loved every single thing about her, right down to her toes! He absolutely swooned over her. Princess Jasmine was very open with where she came from and what she had planned for her life. NO help from her wealthy Sultan father, and any suitor was to oblige by that and expect nothing more..And that was exactly what Devin did, he was only interested in Jasmine. Wealthy, poor, it didn't matter to him. He was lost in her eyes.

Jasmine was very careful, she didn't want to get hurt, she was in a new city with new people and a new life. What was to come of her? She looked at herself and said "I achieved impossible things, I'm more than just a princess". She landed a great career, great guy..she really enjoyed where her life was headed. 

After Devin built up the guts to finally pop the question. He took her out to their favorite spot overlooking the city and he got down on his knee and said "You're my princess, I think you're the most beautiful woman I've ever met and I want to spend the rest of my life being the prince you've always dreamed of, marry me Jasmine".

Well, Jasmine was a hard cookie to catch, but she knew a good thing when she saw one! She jumped for joy and squealed "OH! Devin, Of course I'll marry you. I love you!"
